Whether you're looking to dance the night away or enjoy the great outdoors, Nashville has something for every group of friends. Here’s the five-day girls' trip itinerary I put together.
Day 1: Arrival and Evening Exploration
Start your Nashville getaway by settling into your accommodations. Choose a cozy Airbnb or a boutique hotel in trendy areas like East Nashville or The Gulch, which are known for their friendly vibes and close proximity to restaurants and music venues. Or grab accommodations right down by Broadway, like Noelle Hotel, 4 Seasons, or Studio 154.
After unpacking, treat yourselves to dinner at Hattie B’s Hot Chicken. This spot is famous for its crispy, spicy fried chicken. You can select from five heat levels ranging from mild to “shut the cluck up!” to match your taste. After this flavour-packed meal, start your night out at Coyote Ugly Saloon where they have bartop dancing and body shots. Next take a leisurely walk down Broadway, the heart of Nashville’s nightlife filled with glowing neon lights and live music. Don’t miss Tootsies Orchid Lounge or The Kid Rocks Honkey Tonk, where you might catch a rising star.
Day 2: Explore
After the excitement of Day 1, refuel with a delicious brunch Milk and Honey, where pure gelato, craft coffee, and brunch staples are made from scratch daily.
Later, take a stroll in Centennial Park. With its beautiful landscapes and the impressive Parthenon replica, it provides a serene escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. Then head over to the Gulch for some afternoon shopping where you can check out some cute shops. You can even find Rustler Hat Co there as well, which is a premium custom hat bar!
For a memorable dinner and drinks experience, conclude your day at Hampton Social. This vibrant venue offers a delightful selection of coastal-inspired cuisine, expertly crafted cocktails, and live music, all set within a stunningly designed atmosphere. Capture the moment with photos in the picturesque surroundings, and indulge in a variety of delectable dishes perfect for sharing!
Day 3: Music Culture
On the third day, grab a coffee and treat from Elixr Coffee (Inside Assembly Food Hall) Where they specialize in lighter-roasted, unique coffee.
Immerse yourself in Nashville's cultural music scene. Start with a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, where you can learn about country music’s evolution and the legends like Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton. Make sure to check out their impressive collection of memorabilia, including outfits worn by more than 100 stars.
Next, take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Ryman Auditorium, a historic venue that has hosted many legendary performances. The beauty of its architecture and the stories within its walls will amaze you. There is also a Johnny cash and Patsy Cline museum near by to check out as well!
Visit Assembly Food Hall for a delightful lunch experience, featuring over 30 diverse eateries and bars to satisfy any craving. This vibrant venue is perfect for enjoying a meal with friends and family. I highly recommend trying the lobster rolls from Dock Local; they are absolutely fantastic!
To end the day on a high note, head to The Listening Room Cafe in the evening for snacks and drinks, where you can enjoy performances by local singer-songwriters along with tasty Southern cuisine.
Day 4: Shopping and Sweets
On your fourth day, savor a comforting brunch at at Tenn, where the delicious menu features regionally sourced menu of hearty Southern Dishes.
Day 4 is an ideal day for retail therapy. Visit 12 South, known for its eclectic boutiques and unique vintage shops. Make sure to take a photo at the iconic I Believe in Nashville mural; this is a must for any trip to the city.
For a sweet treat, stop by Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams and enjoy artisanal flavors like “Brambleberry Crisp” or “Brown Butter Almond Brittle.” Seasonal offerings mean there’s usually something new to try.
End your day with dinner at Pinewood Social, where you can also reserve a bowling lane or relax by the pool!
Day 5: Farewell Brunch and Reflection
On your final day, stop by Poindexter Coffee for a picture perfect spot to grab a coffee and a breakfast biscuit sandwhich (I'm still drooling over how good these were). Sharing stories about your adventures here will create moments you’ll treasure forever.
